The SM Optima is a Silicone and PVC semi-automatic sewing system that is composed by a high end lockstitch sewing machine, an optimized sewing table and a SEAS Universal Kit.
The system was developed to be as easy to use as possible, with ideal dimensions for large textile handling and to be easily moved across factory floor when necessary.
With low maintenance and high reliability, this is a turnkey solution to start or increase your presence in the fast growing SEG (Silicone Edge Graphics) industry.
How It Works
With a lockstitch Durkopp Adler sewing head, SM Optima is a highly productive machine that ensures processing speed, manufacturing quality and high working efficiency.
The Silicone / PVC feed is simple, practical and fault-free through a roller support system, a motorised feeder that detects whether to feed the sewing machine or not and a silicone / PVC and textile guiding system, which is applied next to the footer to ensure perfect alignment of both materials.
Silicone reel holder that allows easy placement of the reel and a controlled unwind, preventing the silicone being too tight or too loose.
Automatic system that feeds the sewing head with the amount of silicone needed to perform the job.
System placed next to the footer that is responsible for aligning the silicone/PVC with the fabric panel.
